For more than two decades, Abey was involved in community life through his work with Puff Productions Mobile DJ Service, local radio stations, youth athletics and various events. His professional career included radio work with KSIS, 92.3 BOB FM and KIX 105, where he became a familiar voice to listeners across the region.
Abey founded Puff Productions Mobile DJ Service in 2001 and built a long-standing reputation providing entertainment for weddings, parties, fundraisers and community gatherings. His personality and ability to connect with people made him a recognizable figure at events throughout Central Missouri.
His involvement extended well beyond entertainment. Abey was also heavily involved in youth sports in the Cole Camp community. He coached, umpired and volunteered his time to support young athletes and local recreation programs.
